Marc-Andreas Bochert

Born 1971 in Hildesheim, Marc-Andreas Bochert produced a number of video films in his youth which were shown at numerous competitions and awarded various prizes. He began studying film direction at the Film Academy (HFF) in Potsdam-Babelsberg. During his studies, he directed a number of short films while working as an assistant director on various film productions outside the academy. In 1999, he graduated with his thesis film Kleingeld (Small Change), which was awarded the Student Academy Award for best foreign film in 1999 and was nominated for the Oscar for best short film in 2000.
Since 1999, he has directed two TV fictions and also two commercials.
